NOTES An unbridled extrovert that demands your undivided attention from its cork’s pop, to the swirl of the last drop. Voraciously impenetrable, the wine pours an unctuous, red-leaning violet. Swirling releases a stampede of pie-fruit aromatics and Thanksgiving spice. In the mouth, the wine offers a comforting hug of textures that span out across the palate in a warming embrace. This winter, be sure to wrangle up a partner in crime, pull a cork, listen to the fire’s crackle and allow this 2019 Syrah be the perfect complement to chilly evening.
PRESS 93 Points “A big, rich, ripe Syrah offering loads of blackberry fruits, graphite, peppery herbs, bay leaf, and cured meats. Classic Syrah all the way, it has medium to full-bodied richness, a big mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It’s a great example of the style and quality coming from winemaker Justin Harmon.” -Jeb Dunnuck
